Scaredy-Cat

We have had some unusual weather this summer. Almost every afternoon/early evening we have been having really bad thunderstorms. It will pour for about 30 minutes with really bad thunder and lighting. It has been nice in the fact we aren't in our usual summer drought, but on occasion really messes up end of the day traffic!

Well, our little scaredy cat hates thunder and as soon as she hears it...she usually runs for cover. At our old place she would hide under the bed or in a closet. Since we are currently staying with Brad's parents, she has found a new "hiding" place.

Here she is on the kitchen counter, right next to the cooktop. We aren't really sure why this place seems comforting to her...but nevertheless this seems to be where she finds comfort. What a crazy (super cute) cat!
