I am sure most of you have heard of the daytime Emmy's before, but most of you probably don't know that they give these awards for more than just soap operas and talk shows. They also give them for news broadcasts. In addition to the big televised show from Hollywood, there are also a series of regional award shows that recognize the smaller local networks.
My sister is a news broadcaster producer and had one of her broadcasts nominated for an award this year and she won! Here is a picture of her and my dad and her trophy. I am so proud of her and how good she is at her job!
