Two Weeks Old

Time flies when you are having fun! It also seems to fly when you are operating on zero sleep! The weekend is almost over and I am just now updating Jack's two week post from last Thursday. Here he is with Mr. Frog.

It was quite a challenge to get him to stretch out for this picture. As his two week appointment on Thursday we found out he has grown almost two inches since he was born!

We also made a visit to see Dr. Tucker, my obstetrician. Jack was getting hungry and not happy in this picture, but I wanted to make sure we got a shot for his baby book with the wonderful doctor who took care of us for so many months and who also delivered him.

This week, Jack is starting to sleep a little longer. He's had a few four hour stretches between feedings and has adjusted to life on a three hour schedule pretty well.

This afternoon we enjoyed some time hanging out on the boppy. He is starting to stay awake a little more between feedings and it has been fun to see him gaze around the house and take everything in.

Also, our first attempt at a family photograph. Jack would not stay awake...and as you can tell his outfit was a little big! We'll attempt this again in a few weeks!
