Our little guy is becoming more and more fun everyday. At eight months Jack is starting to become really interactive. He loves to play and will sit on the floor surrounded by blocks and rings and be happy and play by himself! Brad taught him how to clap a few weeks ago and now when you say "Yeah!" he will smile and clap! It is so much fun to watch him interact with his toys and smile, clap and talk to everything!
We have been spending lots of time outside lately...meeting friends at the park, having picnics outside and taking long walks around the neighborhood. We have a few 2-3 mile loops that we switch between and it amazes me how he will just sit quietly for almost an entire hour and just look around and take everything in. This is the only thing that will entertain him for that long!
He is getting FOUR new teeth right now...the four top middle ones. We have had a few fussy nights...and EVERYTHING is always in his mouth. But I guess getting them all in at one time is better than a little along! He will have quite a toothy smile by next month's post!
We have switched is daily schedule up a little bit and are moving to just four feedings per day (every 4 hours). Eating every 3 hours has gotten cumbersome as we are out of the house more and I have felt like sometimes he is not interested in eating and it is more of a challenge to get him to focus on eating than it should be. We just started the new schedule yesterday and it went really well. Hoping this will free up our daily schedule a little so we can enjoy getting out of the house more. Jack is still growing like a weed and is already wearing 12 mo. size clothes. Good thing summer is almost here because most of his 9mo. pants are about an inch too short! How I love this little guy!
