This past weekend, I helped host my third Relay. I've been a member of our local planning committee for the past three years and think this is such a fabulous organization. For those of you who don't know what it is, Relay for Life is an annual fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. It's a twelve hour event where communities come together to raise money for cancer research. This year was even more special to me becasue both of my grandmothers were diagnosed with cancer over the past year. I know that a lot of other communities around the country are hosting their own Relay events now and I encourage you to participate! It's a fun way to support a worth cause.
