Today is the start of the 2008 Olympics. I am so excited! Something about watching the opening ceremonies makes me feel so patriotic. When the Olympics was in Atlanta back in 1996, my family was so excited to go. The only thing we were able to get tickets for was basketball. So we went to the GA Tech basketball arena to watch two South American teams duke it out. The fans were so into it! We had a great time. My favorite summer olympics sports are gymnastics and diving. And thanks to our new DVR I can actually record and watch them on my own time! Happy watching!
