Friday night, we met our friends Janet and Dell for sushi and then I went over to their house to watch the opening ceremonies for the Olympics. Janet and Dell had invited us to go their lake house for the weekend...and since Brad and Dell were planning on getting up early to plan golf...they left after dinner to head to the lake. Janet and I didn't leave until around lunchtime on Saturday and met up with the guys and spent the afternoon laying out on the dock, riding jet skiis and grilling out. It was great fun!
Sunday...the travelling craziness started!
We left the lake around 9am to drive straight to church because Brad was supposed to usher. Immediately after church we jumped in the car to head to SC to see my mom. On the way we stopped into see my good friend Rachel and her husband Wes and their new baby, Caleb. Here we are with the cute baby. He wanted nothing to do with me...but had fun watching golf with Brad as Rachel and I caught up!
After hanging out with them for a few hours, we met my mom and sister and brother-in-law for dinner to celebrate my mom's birthday. We hungout with them for a few hours before jumping back in the car to head home. We got home late and crashed!
It was a busy weekend...but thankfully we were able to spend some good time with friends and family!
