Birmgham Girls Weekend (with Babies)!!!

Last Wednesday, Jack and I left for a long weekend to meet up with three of my best girlfriends. Don't worry...we didn't abandoned Brad! He was busy playing golf for four of the five days we were gone...so it was a perfect time to hit the road and see some old and new friends!

We started the trip driving to Atlanta and spent the Wednesday day and night with Marie and Mac. On Thursday we packed up the boys and and headed to Birmingham to see my college roommates April and Loren and to meet Loren's new babies! She had twins Anna and Ben about three weeks ago and we couldn't wait to see them all!

Here is the beautifull mommy with her babies!

The weather was so nice we enjoyed taking a walk to downtown Homewood for lunch and a little shopping. We were quite the site four girls...four babies...two double strollers!

Here we all are after getting back from the walk. The babies were already napping...but we had to get a picture of all the girls together! Not sure if you can tell from this picture, but Jack was screaming! Due to his new teeth coming in...he was not a happy camper for most of the trip.

A close up of Mac and Jack.

I am so thankful to have girlfriends with new babies too! They have been such a great source of advice and encouragment over the past few months! Marie has been especially great to help me with sleeping problems with Jack because she has just gone through most of the same issues with Mac!

All the babies together in order of oldest to youngest.
Mac...Jack...Anna...Ben
Girls Weekends sure have changed over the years! We were all friends in college and once we graduated and started getting married, we all ended up in different parts of the country. We have had fun over the years making sure we got together and have had fun travelling all of over to see each other. Three of our group now have babies and things have changed some...but it is still great fun to spend time together! Can't wait to see you girls again!
